Unfortunately, using the SaaS configurator is the only way to create sub-accounts automatically (unless you know how to code and can use the developer API). The SaaS configurator is very basic - it doesn't let you trigger workflows or email campaigns, it only works with GHL products/funnels (which don't support Tax, Vat etc...) and it doesn't allow any of the flexibility that a serious SaaS agency would need to scale.

But we many of us would like the option to create sub-accounts automatically, via different triggers.

For example, maybe you want to use a 3rd party payment processor like Thrivecart, as it handles VAT and more advanced sales features. Or maybe you want to create an account with a webhook, from a workflow.

The reality is that the SaaS configurator is limited at best, and if you're looking to scale your SaaS agency you need a more flexible approach.
